Roman Games and Pottery Handling

To complement our Life in Roman Britain sessions, we can offer this extra session which may help fill the day during your visit.

We have some Roman games to learn to play and real Roman pottery and building materials to handle. Once the children have mastered the games and held some real Roman objects, we recommend a short walk to the top of Ambion hill to see the former site of the Roman temple discovered during the battlefield survey and the views it would have had.

This session is ideal for small groups (up to 35 pupils).  Unfortunately, due to space restrictions, we would struggle to accommodate larger groups.

£1 per child.
