The hugely popular Bosworth Medieval Festival will be making a welcome return this August with tickets now on sale!
Tickets are valid for both days.
Please note that during the Festival weekend the Heritage Centre, 1485 Tithe Barn Café and Toilets are open to Festival ticket holders only.

Battle re-enactments
Witness two battle re-enactments by the Wars of the Roses Federation – a Yorkist victory each morning and The Battle of Bosworth as the finale on both days.
Artillery display
Artillery display showing the effectiveness of archery and cannon!
Family 'Bill Drill'
Get stuck in with our bill drill, suitable for children and adults alike.
Meet the re-enactors
When not busy in the main arena, the reenactors will welcome you to view their camps and to talk to them about their hobby.
Birds of prey
Marvel at the aerobatics of the birds of prey of Raptorcare.
15th century fashion show
Find out how rich and poor people dressed at the time of Bosworth.
Fancy dress competition
Children’s fancy dress competition with great prizes, so dress your youngers up to join in the fun!
DIY Battle of Bosworth
Visitors can join the Battlefield Guides in the DIY Battle of Bosworth and refight the famous battle yourselves!
Medieval market
Browse the medieval market next to the arena.
Food and drink
Visit our food court for a selection of hot and cold foods. The Stagger Inn bar will be serving a range of real ales, ciders and soft drinks.
Bosworth merchandise
Browse and buy some of our excellent Bosworth themed merchandise in the field shop.
Knight School
Train to be a medieval soldier under the tutelage of Sir John of Bosworth.
Author talks
Join us in our Heritage Room for a range of fascinating talks by historical authors. An additional ticket is required.
Have-a-go activities
Get hands on with family friendly medieval games and activities. Some activities have a small additional charge.
Loud bangs!
Parts of the programme feature loud bangs and noises. Ear defenders will be available for those with aural sensitivities.
Rose Laying Ceremony
A commemorative Rose Laying Ceremony will take place in the main arena on Saturday 22 August to remember those who fought and died at the Battle of Bosworth and in the Wars of the Roses. A Festival ticket is needed to attend the ceremony.
