Medieval Festival 2026 Family Fun
Take part in a family ‘Bill Drill’ and learn how soldiers at the Battle of Bosworth would have used their polearms in battle.
This is included in the ticket price. No pre-booking required.
Join our resident knight to learn the art of sword fighting at ‘Knight School’.
This is included in the ticket price, but needs to be booked early at the ticket office in the upper courtyard, as it is very popular.
Children’s Knight School is suitable for ages 7-14.
Walk through what happened during the action of the 22nd August with our wonderful Battlefield Guides in our DIY Battle of Bosworth.
Also join a guided walk around the Festival site with our fantastic Battlefield Guides.
Then why not discover the Bosworth story further as the exhibition will be free over the weekend.
Have a go archery for children and adults with the Bowmen of Bosworth.
A small extra charge applies
Children can come dressed up and can enter a fancy dress competition, with great prizes to be won!
