Your views are important to us so that we can continue to improve the experience for all our visitors.

At the end of the survey, there is the opportunity to enter a prize draw where you could win either:

  • Annual Family Pass for Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre
  • Annual Family Pass for our sister site, the 1620s House and Garden
  • Book vouchers worth £30

Terms and Conditions for the prize draw

This prize draw is being run by Leicestershire County Council’s Heritage and Museums Service. By entering this prize draw you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

Eligibility

The prize draw is open to all respondents of the Have Your Say on the Bosworth Medieval Festival 2022 Survey who have stated they wish to enter. In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so. This prize draw is free to enter.

All entries must be 18 or over to participate. All entries submitted after the closing date Friday 16th September will not be counted.

Leicestershire County Council reserve the right to suspend the prize draw where necessary to do so.

How to enter

To enter you must complete the Have Your Say on the Bosworth Medieval Festival 2022 Survey.

On the questionnaire you will need to submit your name and contact number and/or email address and agree to be entered into the prize draw. One submission per person only. Please ensure that you answer the questionnaire as honestly as possible, to give us a true understanding of your thoughts, ideas and opinions.

The prize will be drawn at random and is not based on your answers.

The Prize Draw

The prize will be either an annual family pass for Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre, an annual family pass for the 1620s House and Gardens or £30 worth of book vouchers. (please note Leicestershire County Council’s use of such a prize does not imply an affiliation with, or endorsement of, the chosen book vouchers). The winner will be drawn at random and will be notified within by 30th September 2022.

The winner will be notified by email or telephone and will then need to provide a postal address. The winner will be notified twice and if they do not respond within 14 days of the second email/ phone call, then they will have forfeited the prize and another winner will be selected at random. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and is not redeemable for cash.

Data protection

You will only be entered in the prize draw if you agreed to do so under question 9 of the questionnaire. Your contact details will be held in line with the GDPR and Data Protection Act of 2018.

General

Leicestershire County Council does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of either participating in the prize draw or being selected for a prize, save that Leicestershire County Council does not exclude its liability for death or personal injury as a result of its own negligence.

The prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
