2026 is the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the Leicestershire Fieldworkers, a community archaeology group that has helped to transform our knowledge of Leicestershire’s rich history.
Enjoy this talk by archaeologist Peter Liddle that meanders through the fieldwalking, geophysics, test pitting and excavation of this pioneering group.
