Summary
Join us to remember and honour those from both sides who died at the Battle of Bosworth on 22nd August 1485, during the Wars of the Roses and those still suffering from war today.
The short ceremony will be led by the Dean of Leicester and Rev Ann Hall from Market Bosworth Benefice.
We will be joined by the group ‘Gaudeamus’ who will be singing ‘In Memoriam Ricardus Rex’ by Graham Keitch during the laying of roses.
Due to the weather tomorrow this ceremony will now take place in the lower courtyard near the Tithe Barn and the new coin sculpture.

Roman Around – Living History Weekend
- Saturday 26th July to Sunday 27th July, 10am to 4pm
The Batavi Re – Enactment group will be camped on site and covering a whole manner of everyday roman life experiences from home and family life aspects such as cooking and pottery to exploring the life and attire of a Roman soldier.
