A fantastic day out

A thoroughly enjoyable and fascinating place to visit and a must go for all avid history fans. A big thank you to our tour guide, Michael, who did not fail to bring the battle of Bosworth field alive with important facts as well as lesser known details. Would definitely visit again when in the area!

A Truly Magical Experience

The staff in the restaurant and Visitor Centre were so friendly and helpful it made the most memorable family day with our granddaughter. All the staff were so engaged and welcoming, even organising their all terrain mobility scooter at short notice enabling a magical trip around the 1.5mile Battlefield tour – can’t thank them enough.

Girls Day Out

We spent a fantastic couple of hours here, the guided tour was absolutely brilliant and only £4 per person, worth every penny. Elizabeth our tour guide, made it so much fun, right down to letting us carry flags and test out the weight of the weapons! The food in the cafe was delicious and great value, really good coffee too.

Historical Excitement

We visited here for the first time and were touched by the warm welcome we received from the staff. We really enjoyed the exhibition and loved the intricate models and interactive features. We had particularly visited for a talk on the Neville sisters which was most interesting. We will be back soon for more historical excitement and a talk on the Princes in the Tower, can’t wait!

Exhibition Galleries

As you move through the eight galleries of our interactive exhibition you will find plenty to read and do. Listen to the stories of four characters, some fictional, but others who were there at the Battle of Bosworth and find out how they fared. Have a go at a long bow and try on our replica costumes, helmets and chainmail for size.

Guided walks

The Heritage Centre offers guided walks every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays. One of Bosworth’s knowledgeable guides will bring the events of the battle to life through lively interpretation and objects. With access to the most up-to-date research and evidence, visitors will learn the very latest information about the battle.  The walks are across rolling countryside, with views across to the battlefield itself, and therefore appropriate footwear and weatherproof clothing is recommended.
