After becoming king in 1485 by winning the Battle of Bosworth, Henry VII employed a range of propagandic devices, from coins to folklore, and from pageantry to poetry, to conceal the dynastic weakness of his claim to the English crown.

In this enthralling presentation, historian Nathen Amin explores how the first Tudor king shrewdly controlled the narrative to overcome a series of threats, plots and revolt, in the process establishing his fledgling dynasty upon the throne he had so boldly usurped.
