Summary
Celebrate Big Green Week by enjoying a short walk around our county park with Katie, one of the site’s Rangers. Learn about the plants, trees, grasses and wildlife you can find on our site all whilst foraging for textured natural materials to use as part of the workshop.
With your collected goodies, create beautiful nature plaques to take home using air-dry clay under the expert guidance of our artist Debbie.
The walk will take place mainly on gravel paths, but may cross grass and uneven ground at times. It will last approximately one hour.
The workshop will last approximately one hour and will be in our Heritage Room.
£5 per person.
Pre-booking is Essential. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

House of Bayard – Living History Weekend

The House of Bayard represent a 15th Century French household on loan from the King of France to the Lancastrian cause (Henry Tudor) during the Wars of the Roses and will be portraying a medieval military camp for the weekend.
