

A teacher-led exploration of the fossils and animals on display within the exciting galleries of Charnwood Museum.

Art: Fossil rubbing, and drawing dinosaurs the Barrow Kipper English: Reading Ladybird books (literacy), understanding key terminology Drama: Pupils can play/ make up stories about the toy dinosaurs during the 'feely bag' task
Learning outcome: • Know the discovery of the Barrow Kipper • Do a fossil rubbing • Identify a fossil • Know how fossils were created • Know about different dinosaurs and the reasons for their varying features • To read a variety of books and use the information to make an informed decision about their favourite dinosaur.
