Learning at Bosworth
Inspirational Learning in an Inspirational Place: From Roman Legionaries to Medieval Knights, take part in either our Roman or Medieval inspired learning sessions
Welcome back! We are now processing school bookings again from the start of the Spring Term 2021.
Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre is an invaluable resource of national heritage. It has been awarded the Sandford Award and the Learning Outside of the Classroom Award. Pupils can be inspired by both its Medieval and Roman stories and teachers can visit the site for free with their families. All educators are very welcome to bring up to 3 children and 1 adult for FREE with them as part of the pre-site visit. Please contact us to arrange an appointment – firstname.lastname@example.org / 01455 290429
In light of Covid-19 we’ve reviewed all of our sessions to ensure that both the facilitators and all school groups stay safe, whether it is a visit to the centre or a session delivered in your school.
Please note that we are prioritising Wednesdays and Thursdays for schools visits to enable us to keep the site Covid compliant for everyone. Please bear this in mind when choosing your preferred dates.
Please click on the ‘Educational Visits’ page below to look at which activities are available to make your booking. Please note that a couple of the sessions have been removed from the programme and those included have been tweaked. Despite these changes the facilitators will still be delivering a diverse range of activities that will both engage and encourage your pupils to learn more.
IMPORTANT: Currently we can facilitate one school onsite on each day, to keep each visiting school safe, and we are processing bookings for up to 45 pupils with a ratio of 1 adult for every 10 pupils.
IMPORTANT: If you would like your group to look round the exhibition, you need to book either a Guide-led Tour or a Self-Led Tour of the Exhibition session. Please click on the ‘Educational Visits’ page below for more information.
