This hands on learning package explores bones of ancient and modern animals as well as humans.
In the session, pupils can discover how fossils and bones can teach us about a range of animals and how they evolved.
Maximum number of children for this package is 32 minimum number is 16.
The price is £5 per pupil.
The session last two hours and sees the class split into two halves.
One half of the class undertakes a teacher-led treasure hunt quiz in the gallery, whilst the other pupils get hands-on in the education room under the supervision of one of our skilled and engaging museum educators. This includes a dig box and a clay fossil-making activity, which gives them something to take home.
