This hands-on learning package explores bones and fossils of a range of living and extinct creatures.
In the session, pupils can discover how fossils and bones tell a story about life and evolution.
Maximum number of children for this package is 32, the minimum number is 21.
The price is £5 per pupil.
The session last two hours and sees the class split into two halves.
One half of the class undertakes a teacher-led treasure hunt quiz in the gallery, whilst the other pupils get hands-on in the education room under the supervision of one of our skilled and engaging museum educators. This includes a dig box and a clay fossil-making activity, which gives them something to take home.
