In this package, pupils can learn about the different properties of rocks, and how they have been used in the local area.
Maximum number of children for this package is 32, minimum is 21.
The price is £5 per pupil.
The session lasts two hours and sees the class split into two halves:
Whilst one half of the class undertakes a teacher-led treasure hunt quiz in the museum gallery, the other half will be undertaking different, hands-on activities led by our skilled and engaging museum-educator.
Two pupils returned back to school exclaiming, “I want to be a geologist when I’m older!”
