Further Details
Bring your family along to Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre to meet the medieval archery experts of The Garrison and to immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of a battlefield camp during the middle ages. See how arrow shafts were fletched and what leather goods were made to equip an archer.
Watch a speed shooting competition between longbowmen and a crossbowman, watch and listen to a hand gunner (he’s loud!), find out about the use of bows in warfare and in hunting and how an archer would dress for battle.
As well as watching archery and living history demonstrations, you may be able to try your hand as a billman and complete your own soldier training.
