We booked for a guided tour, with Eddie as our guide. Absolutely brilliant. I learned so much about barber-surgeons, weapons and local history, to mention but a few. It’s a lovely walk around the site, with informative stopping points along the route, but our guide was funny and clearly loves his job and the period. It was great to be able to examine replicas of the weapons and armour of the time. I also came away with a wealth of ideas for future visits and reading. Thank you.
