Main event arena

The event will feature battle re-enactments by the Wars of the Roses Federation – including the Battle of Towton of 1461, which started the Yorkist reign, each morning and The Battle of Bosworth, which ended it, as the finale on both days.

Destrier’s horsemen and women will be returning with their mounted skill at arms and cavalry display and the fascinating Death of Richard III presentation, which was a huge hit with the crowd in 2019. They will also play a major role in the Battle of Bosworth re-enactments, as Richard and Henry and their mounted forces take to the battlefield.
