Further Details

Bosworth Discovery Zone Open

Bosworth Battlefield is an excellent place for you and your family. Join one of our guided walks, which include a mixture of storytelling and role-play, select a children’s lunch box from the restaurant, complete one of the outdoor trails, look around the exhibition where you can dress up, watch some films and design your own shield.

New to the site is the Bosworth Discovery Zone which is a FREE space for children between the ages of 0-8 years and their families.

As well as a great range of self-led activities from Thursday to Sunday on certain weeks throughout the year, we’ll be putting on some seasonal fun too.

Enter into a magical world of Christmas during December, in our festive inspired family room. Decorate your home with a new popsicle stick Christmas Tree, paper snowflakes, a paper plate Father Christmas and cotton ball snowmen.

We also have plenty of knight and princess themed activities for the children. And don’t forget to spend time outside on the lawn where you can eat your lunch, play in the maze, design your own shield, weave your own tree and colour in your own giant daisy.

To stay-up-to-date with our family programme please go to the What’s On page of our website.

We support: Kids in Museums, the Engage Children’s Art Week and the Big Draw.
