William Marshal is an iconic figure of the Middle Ages. Narrowly escaping being hanged as a five year old, he grew up to become an examplar of the medieval knight. A jousting champion, a loyal servants of kings and queens, a pilgrim, a man who played the high game of politics and warfare to win. But who was he really? Award winning author Elizabeth Chadwick who has been studying the Marshal for more than a decade takes us on a journey of adventure through his remarkable life.
Please note that Author Talk tickets can only be purchased in conjunction with a Bosworth Medieval Festival ticket.
Tickets cost £10.00 and are limited to 50. They can only be purchased over the telephone on 01455 290429 (open 7 days a week 10.00 am to 4.30 pm) or in person via the ticket offices at Bosworth Battlefield or the 1620s House & Garden on a first come first served basis.
